I’m Amy.

- Your age?

Age? Ops... confidential!

- How long have you been studying Portuguese?

How many ... I can’t remember when I started this course... Probably two, three months.

- What is your home country?

I am Canadian, originally from Hong Kong .

- Why do you study Portuguese?

Because I’m up to miss this ... so this is a demand ... I have no choice.

- And what do you do to improve your Portuguese? How do you study it?

I take this course here, [join ?] to meet people, and try to speak the language.

- Do you use dictionaries, grammar books?

I use a lot of dictionaries, it is very helpful, but for grammar, I’m with these text books and come to study it.

- Do you enjoy watching TV or some kind of  movie...

I don’t watch a lot of TV here. I’ve to much work to do.

- Do you read in Portuguese?

Some of the handouts I will read it.  Newspaper ... it can be then ...I will pick it up and then read it. I try the few times to watch the TV channels here, but people talk to fast, I cannot catch out the words.
