My first contact with English Language was in the Primary School, I was eleven and I studied in SESI. We had a book named A Practical English Course. I remember that the classes were very bored but I learned all the basic things of the English Language. My first teacher was not so good. Her classes were not very stimulating; she used all kinds of memorization activities in which we had to repeat a lot of time the dialogues in each lesson. I can see that it was not communicative. For instance, there were not listening and speaking actives, there were much repetition, therefore mistakes were forbidden, mainly pronunciation errors. Grammar was taught inductively, but there were lots of grammar exercises. Besides this first contact, not much motivated, I loved the language and decided to start an English course. I studied the basic and intermediate course at Luziana Lanna Idiomas, for four years, the classes were very interesting and stimulating; The teachers used all kinds of activities in which everybody had chances to participate After this experience I was in the high school and I had English classes just for specific purpose, reading. 
When I was thinking about what course to choose in Vestibular I decided to try Letras at UFMG and I passed. I chose English first because I always loved this language and also could learn English grammar. In the beginning of the course, I was afraid with the classes in English but I decided don’t desist, because I could perceive that it was what I wanted.
In conclusion, I could perceive when I was writing this memorial that Learning is something that happens all the time and is also a hard process and at same time very stimulating. I have still a lot of things to learn and after my graduation I want to study abroad to improve my English language.
