Narrativa de LA
My first contact with English
was during my childhood, when my aunt Eliana was graduating and used to
listen American music and talk in English close to me. She was taking
the same course as I do.
At that time that language seemed
wonderful for me. I had no ways to learn because my parents couldn’t
afford an English course and I didn’t had the subject at school.
Anyway, when I went to Junior
High School I started learning English. I was a good student and always
looked for more sources of information. Then, for me there weren’t
bad teachers or books or days to try and give my best about English.
Despite my will-power I had a
trouble: I was very shy. So my pronunciation was prejudiced. But as the
time passed, I became less shy, and my pronunciation got better.
Nowadays I also give my best to
improve my English, although I still feel insecure about my intonation.
Sometimes I get unfounded to look
for more sources. Or sometimes I wish to know other language or I feel
a little lost.
Anyway I think that what made
me learn English until now was my willpower and dedication.
