Well, I started to study English at school when I began to study in 5th grade. In the first moment, I thought that I would never learn English because it was very strange and difficult for me. Day by day, I started to like it very much. In 8th grade I decided to study English at CCAA, and there I studied for three years. When I was going to take the college examination, I first thought about Psychology, but afterwards I decided for languages (Letters) because I wantd to be a teacher. I think my mother had a big influence on me, because she was a Portuguese teacher. At university I could study English more. When I was in the second year at university, my cousin invited me to be an English teacher at the school where she was a principal. Since that day I´ve taught English, exactly twenty years ago. Today I don´t know if I would choose this profession, because it´s very difficult to teach. The teachers don´t have books, nor a good salary, and at school there are many students in the classroom, and the students´ families don´t help them with their homework, etc. It is very hard and sad, I hope that in the near future teaching will be better.
