right, my name is Henrique I am an English teacher I’m 26
years old. I teach English at Wisdom English School in Pampulha
and I learned English, first I studied at Number One for one year,
after that I went to the United States where I did my last year
of High School and then I came back to Brazil, I did a small course
at Greenwich and I did all the few courses, few English courses.
But I’ve been teaching English for 8 years now so that’s
how I learned English. And I think it’s a really good profession,
and I intend to teach English for the last of my life.
How was your English
learning?
In the beginning was really
hard. I had only the basic English when I went to America first
time. But up there in America I lived in a very small town so
I didn’t have any foreigners to speak I had to speak only
with the Americans all the time. And then I learned very fast
like in three months there I could speak everything.
Did you have any difficulty
when you were in the US?
Nor, my trip to the United
States was a dream, everything was perfect.
So it was easy for
you.
Yeah it was easy, let’s
say, I’m a very outgoing person, I like to make friends,
to see new things to go to new places it was very easy. I still
have friends up there. So, sometimes I go there.
You keep contact?
Yeah, and my bother- in-
law lives in America, so I have to go there sometimes to visit
him. And my wife teaches English too. She also lived abroad. So
English is my life. I speak English at home, I speak English here,
and I really enjoy speaking English.
