Ok, my name is Karoline; I’m 19 years old I live in Belo Horizonte right now. I’m studying International Relations in UNI- BH. I come from the countryside, from a small town called Felizlândia and I learned English when I was only 10 years old. I started studying some English books and magazines that I had at home and also listening to American music until I decided that it was time to go to classes. That’s why I asked my mom if she could afford me to you know to go to some private classes. So I started studying. When I was 14, I moved to the United States I studied High School there. And that helped a lot to improve my English and to be able to speak fluently. And when I was there it was really good, because I could talk to people all the time I could hear their mistakes and leaning from their mistakes and also I was reading books in English all the time, attending classes in English and that really helped me.
And I came back when I was 18, you know four years later and I started working as an English teacher and I’m still learning English., still improving when I have a question to teach I have to look up the word that I don’t know, find out new expressions to tell my student what they mean. That’s it!
